I got a lot done last night (laundry, shower, shave, shopping, even some socializing..) but the bike is a mess so I'm not getting out of here today. I replaced the brake pads, thoroughly clean the bike and drive chain, true the wheels, and fix a bunch of odds and ends.

Then there's the blog. When I'm camping all the time it takes a lot of work to keep the blog going, not to mention my devices charged. I don't know some times I have mixed feelings about it. Maybe I should take a break from it for a while.

Replaced the front brake pads today. These had been on there since Tumbaco, Ecuador, an amazing run for a pair of brake pads (14,000 kilometers or 8,700 miles) but I'd say they're done. Santiago at the Casa de Ciclista in Tumbaco bought them for me and said they would last a long, long time. I was skeptical at the time but boy was he right. Gracias amigo!
