Megi, with her 150kph gusts and driving rain, kept us hiding indoors for 2 days except for a few hurried forays down to 7-11 to get food. We sally forth to survey the damage and find a decent meal. 7-11 was the only option in town, I don't think they would close unless hell freezes over. Everyone else in their right mind taped up their windows and hunkered down.

The scooter population did not fare well during the typhoon. Scads of them got knocked over, since they park in lines they went down like dominos.
